Back, Neck & Shoulder Massage

This is the ideal solution if you have concentrated aches and pains, discomfort or tension in the upper body. Our back and shoulders are very often the parts of the body where we tend to accumulate muscular tension. A Back, Neck & Shoulder Massage will loosen the muscles in the back and shoulders where tension exists.

Reflexology

Reflexology is a non-intrusive complementary health therapy, based on the theory that different points on the feet correspond with different areas of the body.

Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy is the practice of using the natural oils extracted from flowers, bark, stems, leaves, roots or other parts of a plant to enhance psychological and physical well-being. Essential oils can also be absorbed through the skin, where they travel through the bloodstream and can promote whole-body healing.

Swedish Massage

The best-known type of massage. One of the primary goals of Swedish massage is to relax the entire body. This is accomplished by rubbing the muscles with long gliding strokes in the direction of blood returning to the heart. Swedish massage is exceptionally beneficial for increasing the level of oxygen in the blood, decreasing muscle toxins, improving circulation and flexibility while easing tension.

Complementary therapies are used alongside conventional medicine to treat ailments such as depression, anxiety, muscular tension, headaches, migraines & stress to name a few. The ultimate goal is to aid healing of the mind, body & spirit.

As a sufferer of migraines my first contact with the world of complementary therapies was through seeking to control said migraines. As with most people, finding time to relax whilst our lives are so busy is difficult but I learnt that having time to focus on yourself is of high importance.

Subsequently I qualified as a complementary therapist in June 2016. For 6 months after I worked within a luxury boutique hotel before branching out on my own.

I offer a range of complementary therapies within the centre of Aberdeen in a relaxing environment.

Initial treatments begin with a consultation to ensure maximal effects of subsequent therapies.

I strive to build a strong rapport with clients that in my experience is not always there in larger settings.

I look forward to welcoming you to my treatment room in the near future!

Hot Stones

Hot stone massage is a special type of massage using smooth, heated stones as an extension of the therapists hands. The heat can be both deeply relaxing and help warm up tight muscles so the therapist can work more deeply, more quickly.
